The story of Bioparque Technochtitlan begins in Sinaloa, where I learned from my father gratitude, curiosity, and the importance of education. Later, in Veracruz and Scotland, I gained knowledge in electronics and microcontroller design that shaped my path.
Inspired by family and academic experiences, I decided to create a space that combines ecotechnologies, education, and sustainable tourism. Here we share accounts of how Technochtitlan was born and the people who made it possible, from bamboo and permaculture workshops to technological projects that aim to transform our community.
We organize activities that connect the community with nature: World Environment Day celebrations, bird and bioclimatic workshops, reforestation races by bike and on foot, outdoor cinema, and gatherings.
Each event seeks to educate, entertain, and strengthen environmental awareness. With the support of volunteers and sponsors, we ensure that children, youth, and adults participate in experiences that foster care for our environment and the construction of a more sustainable future.
We are currently working on reforestation of our Rio Blanco Canyon National Park, the nursery for fruit and timber trees, and the development of a sustainable glamping and spa space.
